BODRUM – SOUTHERN DODECANESE GREEK ISLANDS – BODRUM
DAY 1 : BODRUM
Boarding starts at 15:00. On the first day, our gulet for cabin charter tour will remain anchored at the Bodrum Harbour for dinner and stay here overnight.
DAY 2 : KOS (ISTANKOY)
After your breakfast, you will be informed about the cruise itinerary and the gulet. We will cruise to Kos Island just after completing customs procedures. You will have the opportunity to swim in The Beach of Lambi, which is very closed to the harbour. Kos is one of the islands famous for its vibrant night life. We highly recommend that you to enjoy a great night at ‘’Nafklirou’’, the street of Bodrum bars.
DAY 3 : NISYROS ( INCIRLI ) – SYMI ( SOMBEKI )
We will cruise to Nisyros island early in the morning. We will have a short swimming break on the way. The volcano which erupted in 1422 is considered to be still active. Nikea village along with the crater is composed of mosaic square and lily-white streets. You can join our optional tour which you can walk around and see the still active crater and boiling gas underground. After the break for lunch and swimming in a bay near Symi Island, we will arrive Symi Island in the late afternoon. We will stay overnight here which is a wonder of nature with its neo-classical, colourful houses and central districts, forests and bays.
DAY 4 : RHODES ISLAND
We will cruise to Rhodes Island which is the largest one of Dodecanese Islands in the early morning. It is very popular holiday destination because of having the best preserved city in Europe and the biggest Medieval city and also its warm weather for 300 days of the year. This city, which is still surrounded by a 12 meter thick city-wall gives you the feeling of travelling back to Medieval times, especially when you walk around its narrow, stone-paved roads. Also you will have an opportunity to have a look at Rhodes’ famous night life. The inner part of the fortress is called as ‘’old city‘’ and the outer part of the fortress is called as ‘’new city’’.If you like, you can go to Faliraki Beach by bus (2.5 Euro).
DAY 5 : DATCA - KARGI
Cruising back to Datca, Turkey in 3.5 hours. Datca was founded by the Dorians who came from the Aegean Sea to the southern coast of Ionia in the 7th century B.C. The island is free of any humidity and has fresh air with plenty of oxygen. The Greek historian Strabon was right when he remarked of Datca’s weather: "God would send his beloved servants to Datca to live longer." According to a myth, while the Spanish pirates were passing by the coast of Datca, they left people with Hansen's disease at Sariliman Bay. Surprisingly, these abandoned people recovered from their disease owing to the therapeutic effect of the clean weather of Datca! You may take a walk down the Datca Harbour. It is famous for almonds and olive oil. We will stay overnight on Kargi, our last stop.
DAY 6 : INCEBURUN – PALAMUTBUKU – KNIDOS
We will sail to Inceburun in the morning. The breakfast and swimming break will take place here.After that, we will cruise to Palamutbuku for lunch and a swimming break. The dinner and staying overnight is on Knidos Harbour. Knidos was a developed city in science, architecture and art. The father of the doctors Hippocrate lived here. This city ruins, which has more than 2000 population, is worth seeing.
DAY 7 : KARAADA (BLACK ISLAND) – POYRAZ HARBOUR – BODRUM
We move to Karaada, which is opposite of Bodrum, in the early morning. You should see the submarine valleys. The breakfast is at Poyraz Harbour.It is located on the northern side of the island and has turquoise blue water. We will move into Bodrum Harbour for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 8 : BODRUM
We will say good bye. We hope to see you on a blue voyage again.V
